This section includes headphones, ear hooks, neck loops and input shoes for use with hearing aids.
Headphones for use with hearing aids have inductive output for use with hearing aids set to the 'T' setting. Some can give inductive output to one ear and audio output to the other for use with one hearing aid.
Headphones for users who do not have hearing aids may have amplified output or individual volume adjustment between left and right ear. Individual volume adjustment may be helpful if an individual has more hearing loss in one ear than the other. Some headphones may have automatic level control which makes quieter sounds louder but does not amplify louder sounds.
Input shoes plug directly into a hearing aid but the connection is often unique to specific hearing aids, so it is advisable that the user contact the supplier to check hearing aid compatibility.
