More common windows opening outwards with hinges to the side or top, these windows will normally be restricted to opening up to 200 mm (8"), the method of control may be by Radio Frequency Transmitter, Transmitter Switch or Hand Held Radio Frequency Transmitter ( 433 MHz ). Occasionally if the window is very large a double drive unit will be used, mainly to ensure that the window closes tightly to the frame. The Casement Window Openers may be used to operate almost all casement windows, weather fabricated in wood UPVC or aluminium.
