When magnifying glasses no longer help and other electronic magnification systems are too expensive and too large then consider the TV-Eye. It doesn't look like a visual aid, the discrete shape fits aesthetically into any room and will sit unseen next to your television. Unfold it when you need it and fold it away when you've finished. Use it for reading and writing, it's so simple to use. The TV-Eye displays colour images as well as greyscale, enhanced black on white and white on black. Magnification is in 6-steps from x 4 to x 12 times and is equipped with its own in-built adjustable illumination. The TV-Eye plugs into your television via the AV or SCART socket. There is nothing complicated in setting it up. The clever SCART connection automatically recognises the magnifier when it is switched on and reverts back to your program when it is switched off. Carry it with you when you go away.
