The Cheyne Cups are also available in Adult and Child Sizes. The main body of the cup is angled at 30 degrees so that the minimal wrist action is needed during drinking. There are two handles, one on either side, that are larger than usual to allow ease of handling. The base of the cup is again larger than usual for maximum stability. Both cups have lids. The adult one has drinking holes in it, the size and the number of holes can be changed according to the needs of the user. Specific requirements must be listed on individual orders. The lid also has a small lip which goes into the mouth to minimise spillages and is wedge shaped to keep the tongue down. This cup is also suitable for elderly or perhaps stroke victims. The child sized cup is available with 2 lids the 'open lid' which has a small open spout and a 'closed lid' with a closed in spout. The type of lid has to be stated on orders.
