Floor to ceiling pole constructed of heavy gauge steel. Secured by a jack screw expansion with rubber protection pads to avoid marking the floor or ceiling. No structural reinforcements required but professional installation is recommended. The Superbar can be attached to the Superpole to provide a pivoting and locking rail for support when getting in and out of bed or during other transfers. The rail moves in small increments when slightly raised and drops to eight locking positions. Bar locks automatically within 45 degrees of movement to safeguard against loss of balance. Options include: Supertrapeze Plus lifting pole unit; Safety Island which comprises a ring and tray which mounts at any height on the Superpole and forms an alternative to the grab bar.

The pole is easily installed using a simple jackscrew expansion and fits ceiling heights from 2.36m (93") to 2.54m (100"). A quality handgrip provides a secure and comfortable grip and rubber pads prevent marking of the ceiling or floor. The SuperPole basic serves as a mounting support for the SuperBar (above) and Safety Island (opposite).
