Manufacturer's Product Description
✔️ EQUALITY ACT 2010 - It states that service providers, that is to say businesses and government institutions, need to equip their premises with devices that will improve service for customers living with a disability, including hearing loss. As a result, service providers are legally required to provide environments inclusive and accessible for all, which entails the installation of hearing loop systems.
✔️ FOR HEARING IMPAIRED PEOPLE WITH OR WITHOUT HEARING AIDS - Our induction loop is able to pick up and amplify ambient sounds before transmitting them directly to the hearing aids of any hearing impaired person inside the electromagnetic field that it is generating, assuming this person’s hearing aids have a T setting.
✔️ IEC 60118-4 STANDARD - Our hearing loop complies with the IEC 60118-4 standard, which means you can be certain of getting a good and uniform sound quality within the perimeter of the generated electromagnetic field.
✔️ INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL MICROPHONES - The LH102 comes with two microphones, an internal one to pick up and amplify all ambient sounds without distinction, and an external one to pick up and amplify sounds coming from a specific part of the room, the voice of a person sitting at a desk for instance.
✔️ POSSIBILITY OF CONNECTING AN AUDIO DEVICE - It is possible to connect a computer or a television to the 3.5mm Jack plug of our induction loop so that it can amplify the sounds generated by those devices and allow hard of hearing people standing next to the loop to hear them correctly.
✔️ EASY TO CARRY - The LH102 LT was designed to allow people with hearing disabilities to communicate more easily with someone on the other side of a table or counter. An individual relying on the LH102 LT to follow a conversation should not be further than 2 meters away from it to keep hearing correctly what is being said. If needed, he or she will be able to move the loop closer to where the discussion is happening.
✔️ EXTENDED ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD - Connecting the LH102 LT to a copper cable (available in option - 40-meter-long) that would have previously been uncoiled along the perimeter of a room will allow you to widen its electromagnetic field. This way, wearers of hearing aids would not need to stay close to the induction loop to hear the audio source that it is amplifying.
✔️ WORKS ON BATTERIES OR PLUGGED INTO THE MAINS - The LoopHEAR 102 Light can work either plugged into the mains (power adapter included), or powered by its 9 rechargeable AAA batteries (included).
