Product Information

Manufacturer's Product Description

The Major is a highly supportive car seat from Thomas Hilfen which has been carefully designed to combine effective postural solutions with the utmost comfort and convenience. As such the Major is supplied with all the essential items you need for a safe and comfortable journey. From here, you can customise the car seat to suit the individual needs of each user by choosing from the large array of postural and practical accessories. This not only ensures the optimum comfort and support for each user but also ensures you only pay for the items you actually need. Particularly useful extras are the swivel base (no more bad back for you! and a smoother, stress-free transition in and out of the car for your little one); a tilting plate (offering all the benefits of tilt in space including head control and pressure control amongst many others); postural supports (including lateral trunk supports, hip supports, and two types of pommel); a footrest (for weary legs); as well as many others. You can further customise the car seat by choosing from the five colour options (along with colour-coordinating accessories) to give your car seat that personal touch. For this size of car seat, the Major has an unusually low minimum user weight capacity of 9kg; this is particularly helpful for children who need a class 2-3 car seat because of their size but their weight means they still require a class 1 car seat. As Major has been crash tested for users between 9kg and 36kg, you will no longer need to face this dilemma. To further cater to your growing child, the Major has 12cm of integrated growth in the backrest. Should you need, the Major can also be fitted with a seat depth extension to further prolong the time your little one can fit in the car seat. The Major has been successfully crash tested to ECE R44-04.
