The Orthopus Supporter is a slimline powered arm support, which enables people with weak arm muscles to stretch and reach out without putting strain on your muscles.  It is mounted to the arm of your powered wheelchair and supports the user in conducting everyday tasks.  Crucially, it allows you to maintain arm movement and utilise residual strength, which helps retain muscle strength and keeps the joints in motion.

The Supporter offers two modes of operation;  fixed and free. In free mode, the ideal compensation force is set by the user. If the user needs additional power for a task, the fixed mode can be used to raise and lower the arm.
