Wordshark offers online games to help students learn to read and spell. It's ideal for any student in Primary School but is also very popular for older pupils who need additional support with their literacy skills. Wordshark is particularly well known for helping those with SEND, with over 25 years of experience in this field. The program includes a database of 10,000 words, images and sentences. Students/tutors/teachers/parents can add their own words too. The program includes a placement test and automatic progression but there is also a set work option so that parents/teaching professionals can select particular word lists to learn.
