Day four of our five-day giveaway 

In honour of OT week, we are celebrating this incredible profession by giving away a place on one of our modules of the popular Home Adaptations for Professional course each day this week. We are also giving away a free year’s subscription to DLF ProAssist, our new professional subscribing hub. Each day you will be given the opportunity to answer a simple question about either the DLF, adaptations or something to do with Occupational Therapy to be in with the chance of winning. 

DLF for Professionals is the part of DLF that provides support for anyone prescribing, recommending, or installing equipment-based solutions. This can be through training or support tools. DLF is lucky to have a passionate OT heading up the professional services division to help relate to your needs. 

As OT’s you are always reflecting and learning each day to ensure that you are providing the best service for your clients, but it isn’t always easy to collate and provide evidence of this. We can relate to receiving that stomach churning email that all OT’s dread, being required to submit your portfolio for re-registration with the HCPC.

DLF ProAssist can help with this, tracking your movements within the system, storing the information, enabling you to produce a report on this activity. By showing the information and evidence you have read or contributed gives you the opportunity to write a reflection on how this will improve your practice in the future. 

To further support your role as an OT, DLF Training provides opportunities for CPD through its accredited training options. Along with the Home Adaptations for Professionals, DLF training offers specialist courses around seating, telecare, moving and handling people and reablement.

Today’s competition giveaway is for a place on the Multiple Levels module of our Home Adaptations for Professionals. Multiple Levels includes solutions to access multiple floors as well as the consideration for downstairs extensions.
