Moving & Handling People is a two-day intensive CPD accredited conference. Back for the first time since 2019, the conference focuses on finding positive solutions for practitioners and clients. This year we have an extended exhibition and all-new talks and workshops by leading practitioners. 

The all-new programme includes four all-new practical hands-on workshops, seminars and talks with time designed to visit the extensive exhibition and network with peers. 

Hands-on workshops using the latest equipment include reduced handling, a practical approach to risk assessment, handling plus-sized people and a slings special. Seminars and talks will cover topics such as complex assessments and an inspiring presentation from a respected moving and handling practitioner about her own recent personal journey as a patient with a spinal cord injury and much more. 

This year's keynote speaker Michael Mandlestam will discuss recent case studies, how they serve as a touchstone in health and social care, and what they mean for current and future practice in moving and handling people.

Two-day ticket, 25th and 26th October: £300 +VAT

One day 25th October: £165 +VAT

One day 26th October: £165 +VAT

Group rate: Book three or more places to qualify for the discounted group rate and pay only £240 + VAT per person.
