Minicoaches have a standard seating capacity for more than 16 passengers and capacity to provide space for up to eight passengers using wheelchairs. Access is by steps at the side entrance and a tail lift to the rear of the vehicle.
Caravans are either motorised (often referred to as Camper vans) or trailer (they are pulled behind a car). Adaptations may additionally include low storage cupboards, work surfaces, and detachable tables, seating that converts to a single or double bed, reclining, swivel front seats with headrests, and adaptations to hand controls or example, on cooker and storage units, some with infrared controls.
Vehicles powered by motorcycle petrol engines include some that will convey the driver in a wheelchair and most vehicles will carry only one or two people.
