Mobile phones

This section includes mobile phones with assistive and accessible features.

Mobile phones with features designed for people with hearing loss. Features may include an induction facility for use with a hearing aid set to the 'T' (telecoil) setting, amplification or a loud ring tone.

Mobile phones with features designed for people with sight loss. Features may include an enlarged keypad, an emergency button, or a high contrast display with a large font.

Mobile phones with an emergency button that will dial and/or text pre-set number/s when you press it. You could explain to your local friends and relatives that if they receive an automatic call from your mobile that you may have pressed your emergency button so could they please check you’re ok.
