Manufacturer's Product Description

The Kes-Vir™ Boys Jellyfish Board Shorts are adaptive continence swimwear designed to help boys enjoy swimming with confidence and dignity.

These swim shorts have been developed for children who may have weak muscle tone, restricted limb movement or additional continence needs. The innovative two-in-one swimwear design combines a regular board short style outer layer with a built-in waterproof swim nappy, providing both containment and a discreet appearance that looks like typical swimwear.

The outer shell opens flat to make dressing easier and features slide-on nylon poppers with a shock cord loop and button fastening, which can help carers support children who may have limited mobility or require assistance when dressing.

Inside the shorts, the waterproof liner includes a wide hook-and-loop fastening and tie string for additional security. Both the waist and leg openings are adjustable, helping achieve the snug fit needed for effective containment while remaining comfortable for the child.

The swim shorts are designed to support bowel and urinary incontinence during swimming activities and help maintain hygiene in the water. The relaxed board-short style helps children feel comfortable and included when swimming with friends and family.

Made from chlorine-resistant fabric with UPF 50+ sun protection, the swim shorts are durable, quick drying and machine washable. The fabric is designed to resist pilling and maintain its quality with regular use in chlorinated pools.

The Kes-Vir design was recognised with 2nd place in the ACA/PromoCon “Look Good Feel Good” Award 2012, celebrating products that support dignity and independence for people with continence needs.

Suitable for swimming lessons, hydrotherapy sessions, holidays and leisure swimming.
