Underwear

This section includes men's, women's and children's underwear with assistive features that may make the garment easier to put on or take off. Also included is underwear for warmth or protection, underwear for people with sensitive skin, and underwear available in larger sizes. Some clothing may be made-to-measure.

Underwear in this section includes: vests, pants, bras and corsets, all-in-one underwear, hip protectors, underwear for people who have had a mastectomy, and underwear for people with a stoma.

Assistive features include:

Velcro, poppers, zips, tie-fastenings or button-through fastenings may be easier to use than standard fastenings
Crotch, side or back fastenings may be suitable for a person who uses continence pads, a urinal or catheter
Protective or supportive underwear to reduce the risk of broken bones if a person falls, or to provide postural support
Front fastenings may assist a person to dress themselves
Extenders, cushioning and materials that are suitable for certain skin types, such as sensitive skin, may increase comfort
Pockets and pouches to hold prostheses or stoma bags
Materials to provide extra warmth
Larger clothing sizes.
