These switch operated toys offer a quick, fun reward (e.g. movement, lights or music) for children who have severe learning disabilities, sensory impairments and/or physical disabilities.
They can be used to teach the concept of cause and effect (i.e. knowing that pushing a switch will result in music playing), and to assist with training children to use simple switches.
The toys have either simple-to-operate inbuilt switches, or are compatible with a range of external switches, which children with severely limited movements can operate.
