Toys to encourage speech
This section includes toys and equipment which may help to encourage a child's speech and language development. This includes puppets with movable mouths and tongues, and toys that respond to sounds made by a child (e.g. by changing colours).
Teaching children to communicate can begin long before they learn to speak. Some of these puppets have movable hands which allow you to teach sign language.
