Fall-Safe hip protectors use a modern reactive material that absorbs over 75% of the force of an impact, enough to prevent a hip fracture even from a severe fall. Five years of experience in numerous care homes, hospitals and the home all over the world has proved that Fall-Safe are the most comfortable, coolest and effective hip protectors available. Since they are easy to insert in the special pants supplied, only one pair of pads are required for the normal 4 sets of pants supplied for the a/m price. A new double-sided breathable film will be available from 1 Jan 2018, instead of the pants, to hold the pads gently, but firmly to the hips, like a wound dressing. This is more comfortable, safer and greatly preferred by wearers to the pants, especially by the incontinent.
