Pick up device operated by squeezing a mechanism incorporated into the front of the plastic handgrip. Mechanism extends above the handgrip making it possible to close the jaw using the other hand. Device has an aluminium shaft and a plastic jaw which can be rotated. Both top and bottom jaw have a wide opening to accommodate objects. Jaws are lined with rubber and have a magnet on one tip. Options: jaw locking mechanism, so that user does not have to retain pressure on the trigger whilst the object is lifted; forearm cuff which slots into the back of the handgrip, give support to the wrist and helps distribute load; clip included to attach device to a wheelchair or walking frame. Models include: Short with lock and forearm support, AA8071; Standard with lock and forearm support, AA8061; Long AA8064; Long with lock and forearm support, AA8064; Extra long AA8073; Extra long with lock and forearm support, AA8074; Litter picking - basic long, AA8066.
