Electric ceiling track hoist. Range of model options including powered traverse or X-Y tracking. Comprises powered unit with: emergency stop; weight overload limiting device; emergency lock; emergency stop; emergency lower; handheld control on wander lead; coat hanger spreader bar. Model W features powered lift and lower with manual traverse. Model WL features addition of powered traverse and has handheld control with wander lead. Pick-ups from floor level and has emergency lowering device. Can be made-to-measure. Suitable for swimming pool use. Straight or curved track is available and can be used with free standing unit. Optional weigh scale attachment and turntable track.

Please Note: To ensure safety, this product is available as an installation only. The Wispalong range of hoists provides an ideal solution for bed to chair transfers. These hoists are transformer powered and so require no charging as they are continually connected to the mains power. Each has a safe working load of 130kg (20 stone), a 190kg (29 stone) version is also available. Each includes an emergency lowering device should the mains power fail. Both hoists have a lift and lower motor, the W hoist must be manually pulled along the track whilst the WL hoist is controlled via a traverse motor which is activated by the handset. All Chiltern Invadex hoists have been tested in accordance with BS EN ISO 10535 and carry the CE mark as per the Medical Devices Directive. A full range of slings are available to suit the hoist.
