Please Note: To ensure safety, this product is available as an installation only. The Wispalong range of hoists provides an ideal solution for bed to chair transfers. These hoists are transformer powered and so require no charging as they are continually connected to the mains power. Each has a safe working load of 130kg (20 stone), a 190kg (29 stone) version is also available. Each includes an emergency lowering device should the mains power fail. Both hoists have a lift and lower motor, the W hoist must be manually pulled along the track whilst the WL hoist is controlled via a traverse motor which is activated by the handset. All Chiltern Invadex hoists have been tested in accordance with BS EN ISO 10535 and carry the CE mark as per the Medical Devices Directive. A full range of slings are available to suit the hoist.
