For more than 15 years, DLF have been running courses to train trusted assessors in the competent provision of equipment to enable independent living. With over 4000 trusted assessors trained, the DLF is committed to ensuring the ongoing support and development of these roles and validating their status.
In 2021, DLF will launch the Trusted Assessor Registration scheme. This will help to confirm a common understanding of the term trusted assessor, validate those working within these roles and provide ongoing support and tools to support trusted assessors in their ongoing roles.
